Our Florida Class G Annual Requalification Course is designed for armed security officers who need to maintain an active Class G license in accordance with Florida Statute Chapter 493.
Florida law requires all Class G license holders to complete annual firearms requalification training with a state-licensed Class K instructor. This course satisfies that requirement and provides the official documentation needed to remain compliant with the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (FDACS).
🔫 Course Overview
Mandatory 4-hour requalification
Classroom review of firearms safety, use of force, and legal responsibilities
Live-fire range qualification with your duty firearm
Instruction conducted by a state-licensed Class K firearms instructor
Upon successful completion, you will receive your Certificate of Firearms Proficiency required for license compliance

Current Florida Class G license holders
Armed security officers completing their annual requalification
License holders who need proof of firearms proficiency to maintain active status
⚠️ This course is not for first-time Class G applicants.
🧳 What to Bring

Your Florida Class G license
Duty firearm (same caliber you are licensed to carry)
Minimum required ammunition
Holster and eye/ear protection
Proper attire for range training (closed-toe shoes required)

Students must demonstrate safe firearm handling at all times
Failure to qualify on the range may require additional training
Certificates are issued only after successful completion of classroom and shooting requirements
