Need to Ship a Firearm?

Boynton Guns can assist with the proper packing and shipping of firearms to an appropriate recipient or FFL, including out-of-state transfers. For example, if you're sending a firearm to a family member who lives in another state, Boynton Guns can help facilitate the shipment and transfer process. Firearms cannot be shipped directly to a residence. If you're sending a firearm to someone in another state, the recipient must first contact a local gun store or FFL and confirm they accept incoming transfers.

Shipping Pricing

$60 — First firearm
$45 — Each additional firearm if shipped same day.
Plus actual shipping costs

Our service fee covers the firearm shipping/transfer service. Carrier shipping charges, packaging, insurance, and other applicable shipping costs are additional. Shipping requirements vary depending on the firearm, destination, recipient, and applicable laws. The receiving FFL may also charge their own transfer fees or other charges, which are separate from Boynton Guns' fees and paid directly to the receiving dealer. Please contact us before bringing in a firearm for shipment so we can explain the process and requirements.

Firearm Storage

Boynton Guns offers secure firearm storage for customers who need a place to store their firearms temporarily or for an extended period.

Storage may be useful during a move, while traveling, during an estate or legal matter, or whenever you need a secure storage solution.

Storage Pricing

Handguns: $60 per month for one firearm and $10 per month for each additional.

Long guns: $70 per month for one firearm and $20 per month for each additional.

Long-Term Storage Discount

Starting in Month 3, storage is 50% off the regular monthly rate.

For example:

  • 1 handgun: $60/month → $30/month beginning Month 3

  • 2 handguns: $70/month → $35/month beginning Month 3

  • 1 long gun firearm: $70/month → $35/month beginning Month 3

  • 2 long gun firearms: $90/month → $45/month beginning Month 3

About Our Storage Categories

For storage pricing purposes, we classify firearms based on the space they occupy, not necessarily their legal classification. We understand that SBRs, SBSs, and carbines equipped with a stabilizing brace may not, by definition, be classified as “long guns” under applicable law. However, these firearms generally occupy more storage space than a standard handgun. For that reason, they are charged at the $70/month rate for the first firearm and $20/month for each additional firearm, the same rate as our larger-firearm storage category.

Important: Firearm Release Requirements

Storage does not eliminate applicable transfer requirements.

When a firearm is released from storage, all applicable federal and state laws and requirements must be followed.Depending on the circumstances, a background check and applicable waiting period may be required—even if the firearm belongs to you.
